We were keeping our fingers crossed all week that the weather would cooperate, and despite a cool breeze and some evening showers, it turned out to be a pretty nice day. We had tons of wonderful food (courtesy of my mom), cake and cookies for dessert, sand tables and an inflatable jumper for the kids to play in, and PLENTY of alcoholic beverages on-hand for the adults! Everyone seemed to have a great time, especially our BIRTHDAY BOY!

Here are some more pictures from the party...
Cooper's Elmo cake (baked by Grandma C, but decorated by his loving mommy!)

Sophie and Cooper playing in the sand table

Singing "Happy Birthday" to Cooper

Cooper wasn't too sure of the cake...

He starts to get into it...

He finally figures it out!

Sophie wanted some of Cooper's cake...surprise, surprise!

Cooper loved opening his presents...with the help of Sophie of course!

He is thinking..."Finally, I get some toys of my own!"

Cooper's new Thomas the Train chair

Cooper loves his daddy!

Although planning a party for so many people can get a bit (VERY) stressful, we were so lucky to have the support of our family, friends, and neighbors who helped us in so many ways. We couldn't have done it without you. Thanks to all of you for making Cooper's 1st birthday party a success. It was a very special day that we will always remember.
Once again...Happy Birthday, Cooper! We love you very much and are so glad that you had fun at your party!

Hey.....Where's the picture of Aunt Michelle and Uncle Jack? I can't beleive we didn't make the blog! Just kidding.
We had a good time. Thanks for entertaining us so long. Maybe if we get together as often as we're supposed to, we won't stay so long next time.
Good Job. Everything was great.

Cooper's first birthday part was terrific in every respect and the new back yard looks beautiful! When are you and Steve putting up the swing set? Thanks for a great time!
